Does grey hair mean the beginning of aging in man? Does hair loss suggest the beginning of aging in man? Is the urination difficulty the signal of aging in man?
Some crack a joke that the area of male baldness in China has reached one fourth of that of Beijing.
The kidney problem is blamed for all the conditions.
In fact, "youth" can be maintained!
Here are some tips from Yigong Fang in Acupuncture and Moxibustion Hospital of Chinese Academy of Traditional Chinese Medicine on how to nourish the liver and kidney and keep men young!
【Tip One】 keeping hair black
Everyone wants his/her hair black and thick, but aging leaves no more black color to your hair. Zang-fu dysfunction and dramatic changes in mood will lead to the increase of grey hair, even hair loss!
In Chinese medicine, the manifestation of the kidney is the hair. The kidney dysfunction may lead to the change of the hair color, quality and thickness. The liver stores blood; thus, liver dysfunction may result in blood clots and then hair loss. The spleen governs the transformation and transportation of qi and blood and is the source of qi and blood generation. Therefore, spleen dysfunction may cause deficiency and blockage of qi and blood, which brings about hair loss.
Three-color-drink keeps hair black!
Three-color drink
Semen Sojae Nigrum (hei dou) 5g (nourishing the kidney)
Rhizoma Dioscoreae (shan yao) 5g (fortifying the spleen)
Fructus Lycii (gou qi) 5g (supplementing the liver and kidney)
Semen Sojae Nigrum (hei dou) keeps your face young and your hair black. Fructus Lycii (gou qi) supplements the liver and kidney. Rhizoma Dioscoreae (shan yao) supplements the spleen. Take appropriate amount of these 3 ingredients to make tea and drink regularly, which helps to supplement the liver and kidney; consequently, the hair grows better and is kept black.
NOTE: Semen Sojae Nigrum (hei dou) must be stir-fried before use.
Black hair turning to grey is not so big deal, but too much hair loss, or pelada, or even (complete) baldness is a disaster!

【Tip Two】 taking care of the knees
A Chinese saying goes, "leg senility occurs first when one is aging". When a person ages, knee problem occurs most easily, which is connected with the disharmony of the kidney, liver and spleen.
From the perspective of Chinese medicine, the kidney governs the bone and produces the marrow. The bone marrow carries nutrients and keeps the bones strong.
The liver governs tendons which mean the ligaments between the bones and the joints. When the ligaments are not healthy, the joint motion is very likely to be limited.
The spleen governs the limbs and muscles, and joint motion relies on the cooperation of the surrounding muscles.
How to protect the knees? Traditional Chinese acupuncture and moxibustion, internal and external use of Chinese herbal medicine can help achieve this goal. The following prescription is for external application.
