A man suffered from pain in the right knee. The treatment is based on the principle of treating the lower parts from the upper. Locate points corresponding to the collaterals and meridians. The painful points of knee joints correspond to LI11 (Quchi), LU5 (Chize) and HT3 (Shaohai) respectively on the Yangming, Taiyin and Shaoyin channels. During the treatment,  after the patient obtaining qi,  the practitioner asked him to squat or walk upstair. The treatment is also called motion acupuncture.
